care

clean * you can clean most jewellery in lukewarm water, with a fragance free soap, to get into the corners, we recommend using an old toothbrush. Soft minerals like pearls and corals are fragile, so handle with care. You can also use polish cloths and silver clean products, which can be purchased from most goldsmiths, always check instructions. If your jewellery needs a proffesional “shineup” most jewellery shops offers this service. Silver oxidizes naturally & the best way to avoid tarnish, is storing your silver jewellery in zipperbags. Any doubts, pls. contacts us at hi@yabstudio.com
dont * expose your jewellery to showers, seawater, swimmingpools or any kind of chemicals, incl perfume, add perfume and let it dry up before wearing your jewellery. Dont sleep with your jewellery or let it lay loose in a bag, wallet, pocket ect, scrathes, bending or yanking, ruins most jewellery. Avoid soaking jewellery with glued items, most liquids will dissolve glue. Pls be aware of knitwear and towels, as its easy for most jewellery to get caught in, especially clasps
important * we have noticed that certain medical products can discolour metal, especilly silver. If you for ex. need to treat scabies, please avoid wearing your jewellelry for at leasts 3 weeks, it will make silver jewellery go pitchblack. Should it happen, then bring it to a proffesional workshop, as it will need a special treatment.
our best advise * wellmade jewellery are longlasting, though it all depends on how its treated. If you treat your jewellery, like you would treat any other piece in your wardrobe, then it will last you longer.

Enjoy your new piece of jewellery
